We are currently playing in the following leagues -

Wednesbury Cricket Club is over 125 years old and is part of the Wednesbury Sports Union which consists of cricket, hockey, junior football, tennis and table tennis. The Sports Union has a website @ http://www.wednesburysu.co.uk/
Wednesbury Cricket Club is an amateur community based sporting organisation that delivers cricketing opportunities to all areas of the Community regardless of their gender, age, culture or socio-economic background. We work with a number of 'partner' organisations to achieve this.

We will be delivering the 'Chance to Shine' Cricket Program to the following schools in 2008 - Wood Green Junior School, Mesty Croft Primary School, St Johns CE Primary School, Park Hill Primary School, Old Park Primary School and Moorlands Primary School. We have recently delivered a successful project to other Primary Schools in the local area through the Local Network Fund - Ocker Hill Primary, St Mary's Primary, Sacred Heart Primary, Tameside Primary, Mesty Croft Primary and Moorlands Primary.
If you are interested in playing for us, please get in touch (williamschris@msn.com). We currently run 4 league Teams on a Saturday, and 3 Teams on a Sunday (2 league and 1 friendly) . There are loads of opportunities for Young Players at U11, U13, U15 & U17.

All the teams for Saturdays are recorded on this site during the season. If you register as a member with your email address, the Team selections will automatically emailed to you. Full statistics are also maintained for Saturday League Cricket.

Annual Subscriptions are set as follows for 2008 (there is a sliding scale to encourage early payment of annual subscriprions):
Senior Members - £65 if paid by 1st April , £75 if paid by 1st May, £80 if paid by 1st June.
18-21 - £45 if paid by 1st April, £55 if paid by 1st May, £60 if paid by 1st June.
Students/Unwaged £35.00 if paid by 1st April, £40.00 if paid by 1st May, £45.00 if paid by 1st June.
Juniors/Under 17's £10.00 if paid by 31st March, £15.00 if paid by 1st May, £20 if paid by 1st June.
No one will be selected after 1st June if they have not paid Annual Subscriptions.
